Giving national pastors the tools they need to minister to their own people is a top priority at GraceWorks. Not only can these pastors minister to those we will never meet, but they can also minister more effectively, as fellow members of their community and culture. However, very few have the training they need in even the most basic doctrines. Many, in fact, don’t own a Bible from which to teach! Our goal is to provide basic doctrinal training (and Bibles when possible) to enable pastors around the globe to teach and evangelize their own communities.
People cannot listen to the gospel when they are struggling with hunger, thirst, or illness. As Jesus first met the needs of those He served, we also endeavor to meet every physical need within our ability. This often means supplying food and safe drinking water to communities and individuals. The gospel is shared with each person who receives humanitarian aid and, as with our children’s program, follow-up and discipleship is then entrusted to our trained pastors and leaders.
Having completed training, local pastors are now more equipped to disciple new believers and evangelize their communities. GraceWorks Global jumpstarts that effort by holding programs for children during our time “In-Country”. Through games, food, crafts, and Bible stories, we present the gospel to children, bringing little ones (and their families) to Jesus then turning over the follow-up and discipleship to our trained church leaders.
When not traveling internationally, we love to encourage churches within the United States. We would be pleased to share our vision with you and encourage believers with the work God is doing globally!
Allen is an ordained minister with over 20 years of ministry experience and he has a passion for teaching the Word of God and training others to share the gospel. In addition to this, our family comes equipped to lead music (both traditional and contemporary), help with church projects, and come alongside in many other ways that might be an encouragement to your church, organization, or community.
